The road to our house inspires paintings to flow to illustrate my latest book "A Crown for a Princess".

Early dawn in November

This is early dawn in November 2013. The lake has just frozen. Soon we will have snow for the winter. The fish eye lens gives the photo a different effect. Images of ice skating flash in my mind, bringing sweet memories of my childhood.

Late summer on Gull Lake, in Minnesota, is beautiful! As the sun sets, the waves are splashing on the grass that lines the shore. The cool breezes feel refreshing after the heat of the day. Can't you imagine yourself in a boat as it gently rocks back and forth giving you a  relaxing ride?
